What are your plans for the 4th of July? Ours is filled with family, friends and of course fireworks. Although, the fireworks may be limited this year due to the fires, but we are still looking forward to celebrating this country.
MemoryMixer isn't just for digital scrapbooking. Here's an easy way to create a banner, perfect for decorating your party.
Create a Portrait Album from Scratch and add as many pages as you want (one for each pennant). Choose your backgrounds and put them in the order you want. Remember the duplicate page feature if you want duplicates.
Add the Banner Project Patterns. You can have all of one style, alternate, or make it random! It is up to you! You can also copy and paste the Banner Project Pattern from page to page.
Add your letters onto each page. Experiment with different fonts, colors, sizes, etc.
Then you can add Embellishments if you want! We left the first and last banners blank so we could add embellishments and little sparkles.
Then Print as you normally would on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Cut each pennant out and adhere to a ribbon. We used staples, but you can use tape, glue, etc! Lay your banner out when adhering to ribbon. We found it easiest to put it on the ground so you have plenty of room to work.

Hang your banner and admire your handiwork! This quick and easy banner will take your party up a notch! We used the Fabulous 4th series by Ettes and Company by Fayette and the Banner Project Pattern by Lasting Impressions (save 50% on the Fabulous 4th Collection and Banner Project Pattern through Thursday, July 5, 2012)
