One of my favorite things about summer is spending time together as a family....even when things don't go as planned. Sometimes these become the best memories. 

 

 

Although this was the 3rd breakdown (2 trailer tire blowouts & 1 overheating) on the way home from vacation, this photo makes us all laugh everytime we see it.  At each breakdown spot we pulled out the mats and played games at the side of the freeway in the scorching sun.

These are some of the best photo ideas for capturing the essence of summer. I think another thing that you could add would be time at the pool or at the beach. Those are the things that scream summer to me. http://JourneyIntoPhotography.com
